I’m always trying to find new ways to compactly store the somewhat large number of things I own. I know, I know, the easiest thing to do would be to just never get new things which would make my wallet and my back when I’m moving heavy boxes happy. But, I’m a sucker for variety and different colors, so I can’t help myself.
Since I have a sort of large collection of makeup for a college student, and makeup often comes in extremely excessive packaging, I decided to go ahead and depot a lot of my eyeshadows into a ZPalette which is sleek and travel friendly.
I went from this:
1 Loreal single, 1 Revlon single, 1 Physician’s Formula duo, 2 Loreal Hip duos, 2 Urban Decay quads, 2 Urban Decay 6 eyeshadow palettes, 1 Estee Lauder quad and 1 Estee Lauder 9 eyeshadow palette to…
1 ZPalette that holds all of the eyeshadows compactly and in an organized manner! I tried to take the picture with roughly the same table space for comparison. The ZPalette is a lot thinner than the Urban Decay palettes for reference. Not to mention, all those oddly shaped pieces of plastic are hard to store in a compact way. I have to say, I was a bit sad about de-potting the Urban Decay palettes because the packaging, although superfluous, is so gorgeous and artistic.
I am excited to be organized and now that everything is in one place, I think I will get a lot more use out of it. Sometimes I forget about certain palettes because when you have to go through and open each one up in the morning you get lazy and just stick with your favorites of the moment.
